1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Hello.im and using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Hello.im. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of Hello.im after updates means you accept the new terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Hello.im, you must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you're under 18, you may need parental consent. By signing up, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

Registration

You are responsible for providing accurate information when you sign up. You must provide a valid email address.

Security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact us.

One Account Per Person

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent our policies. Each person should maintain one personal account. Organizations may have one account. Duplicate or spam accounts will be terminated.

4. Responsible Broadcasting

Hello.im is built on the principle of responsible broadcasting. Respect your audience.

Do Not:

Spam your followers with excessive broadcasts. Quality over quantity.
Post hate speech, discrimination, or content that harasses others.
Share illegal content, malware, or content that violates laws.
Impersonate others or use deceptive identity information.
Engage in phishing, scams, or attempts to steal information.
Abuse the platform's infrastructure or attempt to breach security.
Post content intended to sexually exploit minors.

Broadcasting Health

We track engagement metrics to help you understand if you're wearing out your audience. If you post too frequently or your followers consistently ignore your broadcasts, we'll notify you. Persistent abuse of your followers' trust may result in account suspension.

5. Content Guidelines

Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you post on Hello.im. By posting, you grant Hello.im a license to store, display, and deliver your content to your followers.

Copyrighted Material

You may not post content that infringes others' copyrights. If you post copyrighted material without permission, we may remove it and suspend your account.

Links

When you share links, you're responsible for the content of those links. Do not use Hello.im to distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful content.

6. Followers & Unfollowing

You can follow or unfollow any user at any time. If you follow someone, you agree to receive their broadcasts. You can block users, mute their broadcasts, or change your notification settings.

We reserve the right to recommend accounts to follow, but you always choose who to follow.

7. Hearts & Engagement

You can give hearts (likes) to broadcasts you enjoy. Hearts are a simple way to show appreciation. Do not abuse this feature by giving hearts maliciously or as part of manipulation schemes.

8. Moderation & Enforcement

We May Remove Content If:

It violates these terms or our content guidelines.
It's illegal in your jurisdiction.
It's reported by users as abusive, and we confirm it violates our policies.

Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these terms repeatedly.
Engage in spam, harassment, or hate speech.
Attempt to breach our security.
Use multiple accounts to circumvent our policies.

We'll attempt to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe abuse. You may appeal account suspension by contacting us at support@hello.im.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Hello.im is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

Hello.im will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Your broadcasts will reach all followers without delay.
Your data is safe from all security threats.

We work hard to maintain reliable service, but we cannot guarantee perfection.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hello.im and its creators are not liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Loss of data or revenue.
Damage to your reputation from content posted by others.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Hello.im from any claims arising from:

Your violation of these terms.
Your content or the links you share.
Your use of Hello.im in violation of laws.

12. Intellectual Property

Hello.im, its design, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify Hello.im without permission.

You retain ownership of your broadcasts and can delete them at any time.

13. Third-Party Links

Hello.im is not responsible for third-party websites or services. When you click a link in a broadcast, you leave Hello.im. We encourage you to review the privacy and security practices of external sites.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Hello.im operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
